We are now recruiting volunteers for York Cares Charity Business Review. If you are interested in any of the opportunities below please contact email@example.com for more information.
York Cares Charity Business Review:
We are looking for volunteers with experience of financial planning, marketing/social media or product and service development to take part in the next York Cares Charity Business Review starting on Monday 1st February.
The Charity Business Review gives business volunteers the opportunity to use the business skills they have developed professionally to help voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations develop plans, test ideas and push their organisation forward.
The charities taking part this year are Stretch, Musical Connections and York Greenway Champions. You will be matched at the end of the first session to give volunteers an opportunity to identify which organisations they would prefer to work with, based either on interests and/ or skill set.
To take part you need to be available to attend the opening and closing sessions, at 5.30-7pm on Monday 1st Feburary and Thursday 14th April, and for a minimum of five hours in between these dates.
If you are interested and feel you have the skills to help kick-start these charities, please contact Caroline Wilcock by Thursday 21 January at firstname.lastname@example.org to express your interest and provide details of your areas of expertise and which organisation you may be interested in working with.
For more information about the scheme in practice, why not read our blog about a previous CBR experience?
