York Cares is calling dynamic 16-25 year olds to give Heworth Lighthouse a whole new look. Click here for a pdf poster

• Overhaul the grounds – dig, bash, paint and plant
• Design and install art works including new signage and a willow sculpture
• Create wildlife habitats including bird and bat boxes
• Develop a chill-out space for young people
• Document the week in pictures

You can join a daily team challenge or a weekly team challenge

• Minimum commitment: 6 hours
• Sign-up as a group with your mates

The project marks the city-wide launch of v@yorkcares which brings 16-25 year olds who are studying, working and living in York to volunteer with and for one another. Media coverage guaranteed!
