Enterprise Hub

We enable employers to share their businesses expertise with voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations to help them become more sustainable.

Both public spending and public funding service provision are being reduced, which has led to an increase in demand for services delivered by charities. At the same time, funding streams available to these organisations are shrinking.

Community organisations need to develop new ways of generating income to survive. By supporting organisations in this changing economic climate, employees can bring about lasting change.

Skills share Employee volunteers use their professional skills to support Voluntary, Community or Social Enterprise organisations who are starting up or changing direction and want to shape their thinking, test ideas and get a different business perspective on their challenges.

For more information and how to take part please read the Skills share information. To find out about previous skills share projects please read the Case Studies.

For Voluntary, Community or Social Enterprise organisations who are interested in gaining support from employee volunteers and their expertise please complete the Expression of Interest Form which can be found here: EOI Form and send the completed form to info@yorkcares.co.uk.
