Through the Enterprise Hub, we enable businesses and voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations to share their skills and expertise; supporting employers to work more closely with their communities and helping the VCSE sector to become more sustainable.
Public funding streams are reducing and charitable trusts have less investment income to distribute. At the same time, local government is looking at new ways of delivering public services which might provide new opportunities for groups to expand.
VCSE organisations need to develop new ways of generating income to survive. By supporting organisations during this period of transition, employees can bring about lasting change.
Business and Charity Skills Share Project – employee volunteer support for VCSE organisations who are starting up, changing direction or wanting to test their ideas and get a business perspective on their challenges. For more information and how to take part please read the Skills share information or see our case study examples.
