York Cares 2021 Impact Report
Despite 2021 being a different year, employee-volunteers still gave a huge amount to the community. All of the volunteering that took place helped us with our mission to make York a better place through employee-volunteering.
What were some of the highlights?
- 2,139 hours spent volunteering in the local community. This equates to over 305 working days!
- We supported 84 community partners which included primary schools, Independent Living Communities, York CVS as well as other local charities in the city.
- Over 200 employee-volunteers got involved in our Big Community Challenge at Rowntree Park in June.
